GoodJews is an original animated series about a ‘gruppy’ married couple (google it), a Gujrati (region of India) man and a Jewish woman. The show is at the forefront of international humor (read: no white or black stars), mixing the melting pot, salad bowl, oily naan and cheese blintz models of racial assimilation onto a single heaping plate of cultural understanding.

GoodJews will be distributed online through Badmash, a South Asian production studio and web portal. It is animated Macromedia Flash and optimized using the revolutionary H.264 Codec.

The GoodJews production process required US-based writers and directors to trust the comedic impulses and creativity of our Indian animation company. This is unique in the world of outsourced animation, where animators typically follow instructions. Ours was a far more iterative process, making GoodJews a true hybrid, akin to the premise of the series: Writers from one culture and animators from another bringing together a global perspective!
